I've sampled most of it and it is definitely not stale. I think the sugar preserves it. I didn't mean for you to list everything, for some reason that's the only thing that didn't track. I felt bad because I took forever to get any ideas or inspiration and with the shipping issues going on and some going through customs, I knew they were going to be late and that's no fun for Christmas so I got a little extra. I'm glad you and the kitties enjoyed it!
