It's actually a real promo image for Casablanca that I printed to the right size, then i used a nail to punch the contours of the different sections

depending on how bright or dark they were.
I was left with a bunch of tiny holes that I had to associate with the real image. For instance this is a shadowy portion of the image, therefore I need to put lots of nails there to be able to put tons of thread until it's dark. This other section is bright, so barely any nails.
I did section by section, here's an WIP image
