nice office or den in my small apartment-type condo. it’s me sitting on the side of my bed with cats often walking around most of the time. they’ve said it’s policy to have cameras on while respecting the need for privacy for some - alrighty, let’s go with that.
with as overworked as I’ve been for almost 2 years now (and it wasn’t exactly light before), and no sign of light/actually possibly worse ahead, they’re not taking anything else from/adding more stress to me.
I may do it from the office, where I’ll be part-time, though, as my ortho issues permit. that’s different.
from another thread, we’re also at the no masks/vaccination required stage (with an asterisk along the lines that everyone should feel comfy wearing if they want or need to); and even with knowing they can do that because 9x% of people said they’ve been jabbed, my lungs haven’t gotten the all-is-safe memo because it’s not. I have close coworkers who are already traveling a lot, many are customer-facing and have to be vaccinated because of requirements on that side of things; but I just can’t bring more risk to myself or possibly others.
