I'm suspicious of anything without an age statement. in this case it is a single malt, but I doubt it's much over the minimum. got a good deal on it, still wouldn't buy it again.

fine, i'll give you that some of the classic blends are good. it's the new ones that seem lazy.

you are not wrong. it's a trend I don't like. lots of bottles in my local store now that are mysterious 'special releases'. -- nm
