I rarely find myself wanting to pull out the app to interact with it like a dashboard or even "see" information about the system. That might be different if I had more sensors.

Usually it is "Alexa, turn on the lights" or "Alexa, make the living room blue" or "Alexa, goodnight" or my favorite "Alexa, let's cook" which turns on all our under counter lights in the kitchen + the stove light and the over the sink light.

I usually use voice interaction, although now that I have the Echo 15 mounted in my kitchen I do use it's dashboard a lot to turn things on and off - decline Apr 12, 11:23
