it's not the worst. resignation question! should I resign on friday or monday?

if friday, I ruin their weekends. if monday, they have less time to figure out a plan.
I lean to monday.
a note: I am owed four holiday comp days, two personal days, and most of two vacation days I will be taking before I go.
also, if they ask me to stay an extra week because of the above, I get two more days on may 1.
so I am largely on vacation starting monday.
