Did I mention I'm driving to Winnipeg in the fall? My late brother-in-law's memorial service is on September 25th in Winnipeg. And I'm being ordained into his Catholic Church (one of those liberal splinter group Apostolic Catholic churches) on the Saturday before.
Ben Franklin's were these stores, usually located in or adjacent to town squares and schools, that were a sort nearly-one-stop-shopping stores. Ben Franklin didn't carry everything, but they were solid on school supplies, office supplies, stationary, snacks, drinks, beverages, cigarettes, and odd essentials. And most had a full drug store section, too.
