I attended a webinar last week put on by an Illinois solar group. Was mildly informative but they key takeaway was that ComEd is no longer limiting

home solar arrays to 110% of average usage. They still expire your solar credits after a year but that should mean that I can put up as big an array as my home will hold
I'll have to pay attention to the inverters to make sure they are not the limiting factor of the panel production. I'm not too worried about having too much excess electricity. I can always suck up extra bitcoin mining (I jest...kinda) :)
