LYC: I bought that new Wyze Lock last night for the new house. Figured it was easily the cost of changing the locks with a locksmith -- (edited)

and much more effective than trying to buy new deadbolts, etc. Judging from the pics of the house it appears the front door just has a deadbolt anyways. Our current house has deadbolt + handle locks
Responses:
The main thing I disliked about that lock is no key backup. That and wyze, while I like my camera, doesn't strike me as reliable

Certainly a potential issue with any non-mechanical lock. I also have a smart garage door system I got for Christmas to install and we probably will

Oh yeah with multiple entry points it's much less an issue. Being in a townhouse without a garage it's much more a concern. -- (edited)
