Certainly a potential issue with any non-mechanical lock. I also have a smart garage door system I got for Christmas to install and we probably will

also add an external garage code opener if there isn't one already (we have this on our current house) so we can always go in through the garage.
Since we're also looking at solar + battery the "what if the power goes out" for the garage door isn't a concern either
