work rant: I am trying to explain to an IT person that something they changed means I can not access something important but they deny they did...

My role changed in November last year and was given access to certain special functions back in December. Then while I was away for March Break, somehow my access to a lot of thing was deleted in error. Took two days to get the basics back but now I need some of the special stuff again and IT is saying that they only have the info from my role when I started three years with my company and none of my updated role. I even provided the ticket that dealt with me losing access and they are ignoring that.

My boss is involved now and shes the one that submitted the request for special access so I dont think shes happy now.
