I do love that feature. Speaking of smoke alarms. The house has two within like 6 ft. of each other. One in the great room and one in our bedroom

Guessing it has something to do with the layout but it seemed odd. I only have 2 Nest Protect so one went in the great room and the other in the hallway

I'm tempted to replace the one in the bedroom with a Protect but I'd definitely have to turn off the light or it would go off a lot

in most areas it's required that you have one smoke alarm per bedroom, so it makes sense that you'd have one there - amanda May 2, 09:54 2
