My father somehow got his Netflix profile set to Spanish. Not the audio, just all the menu text and show descriptions. He does not speak Spanish.

We fixed that on the computer, but it still showed Spanish on the TV, so I suggested they sign out of Netflix there. Result: they logged out of their DirecTV Stream service. Well that's one way of doing it I suppose.

I used the service's website to reset that password for them since they had no idea what it was, and now they can't find determine how to sign back in. After 2 hours, we decided they need an on-site visit from my brother who lives in the same town as them.

Tech support for your folks over the phone, when you have no idea of their set-up or what they're looking it is exhausting. We should've used FaceTime so I could at least see their screen.
