I'm intrigued by the possibility of Boring a least partly solving some transportation related problems.
I know people dismiss it as "he invented subways/trains", but that ignores that people prefer cars for the privacy and the versatility. Cars can go places that trains and subways can't and *if* tunnels can lessen congestion (not sure if they can, based on studies of adding lanes to surface roads) then they are a potential benefit.
It seems like building roadways/tunnels in vertical stacks might improve traffic flow.
