Family is the best episode STNG ever did.
Since that episode aired, they have randomly killed off the brother and nephew and now done an entire story arc that strongly implied Picard didn't even spend his childhood with his brother.
This was F- storytelling. It's like it was written by someone who didn't actually watch STNG.
