that should be classed as F- continuity. My major problem is that it didn't feel right to focus so much on childhood guilt because that's it's not the nature of Picard to be affected by that.
Now, if they had done a call back to say that the reason Picard hated kids and particularly Wesley was because Picard was worried Wesley was going to be the death of Beverly, that would have been interesting...
