Mom wanted this recipe from Bon Appetit made for mothers day, a rack of lamb (her fav) with a roasted strawberry reduction sauce

I thought it was going to be weird.

but it came together nicely. you brown the rack in a cast iron skillet, then roast it 20 min at 375 with a bunch of cut in half strawberries in the pan.

then you boil the mushy berries in a pot with a cup of chicken broth, splash of balsamic, rosemary and a heaping teaspoon of pepper...and a big chunk of butter.

anyway it was pretty good.
