Thanks for asking. I meant to report back. He's doing much better. When he went into the hospital on Wednesday he was deteriorating pretty rapidly.

When he got there they found the Covid had progressed to pneumonia. He was on 100% oxygen and they were contemplating moving him to ICU. They started giving him Remdesivir, steroids and an antibiotic (there was a bacterial infection as well). He was breathing rapidly and they were very concerned. His breathing calmed a bit and he basically slept and was pretty non-communicative for about 2 days. His breathing improved and they started decreasing the oxygen. Then on Friday he woke up. Was alert, started eating again. They took him off the oxygen. On Sunday he started walking a bit. The hope is that he can go home today or tomorrow. We call him the Energizer Bunny. He's 96 and whatever comes he just keeps going and going. Thanks to you and others for all the good thoughts.
