I'm not being snide. Because of the nature of this story, I'm unclear as to which one you're disagreeing about.
I'm referencing the Wanda in the cave, who I believe is the Wanda imprisoned by the Darkhold. Note that there's some debate about which Wanda this is. Either way, it's the Wanda puppeteered by the Darkhold who recognizes what she's allowed herself to become and fights back in the end.
Also, presuming I'm following your argument, the "storytelling schtick" is the Darkhold's malevolent's power overwhelming the senses of even the strongest Avengers. I don't view that as repetitive but rather integral to the plot. We're all saying that Wanda is the villain, but it's really the Darkhold. Its evil reveals itself in multiple ways.
