One of the reasons cited for banning abortion is to ensure the "domestic supply of infants" (word for word, that's the phrase used) for adoption.

Barret apparently used the phrase, too.

This is a total commodification of children. No thought is given to anything beyond the want of people to adopt. If you have a womb, that womb is no longer yours, but belongs to the adoption system.

Am I surprised? Not really. The GOP mindset has always been "what I want regardless of its impact on others", but to extend it to treating children as a product is just sickening.
