I was looking at these two kittens and the adoption fee is $400 for the pair. Apparently that's normal.
I'm not sure what I expected it to be but that was much more than what I figured.

I paid $200 for Phoebe in 2021 from a rescue. They ensure they are fixed, chipped and healthy. (and she qualified as a senior, she was 8. -- (edited) - Andie May 10, 06:53

Interesting. Around here they aren't much more than $50. often fees are reduced or waived for adult cats. It's the dogs that have the high fees. -- nm - TWuG May 9, 20:59 3
