Interesting. Around here they aren't much more than $50. often fees are reduced or waived for adult cats. It's the dogs that have the high fees. -- nm

The shelter we adopt from spays/neuters all animals before adopting them out, so the fees are incredibly reasonable given that. - TWuG May 9, 21:05
