So we have a PowerBI that I built for our assessments. We review a certain # of files each month and then grade based on three levels of issues. A clean file is good. A file can have a lot of issues, multiple in the same level, or spread across levels. AAA or AABC or C or clean.
The big boss wants to know if we reviewed 100 files, with 250 total issues, how many files had an A, a B, or a C, regardless of how many of each. Not how many A’s but how many files had at least 1 A. A bad file won’t tarnish everything, right?
I had a great design showing the three levels, it looked good and made sense.
Her underling has ordered me to change it so if we had (out of 250 issues), 50 A’s, 75 B’s and 125 C’s…just divide those by 250.
So instead of knowing how many files were problematic, we now have 20% A’s, 30% B’s and 50% C’s…as though there is much to gain from that.
So fucking dumb.
