was reading that we should avoid using 'healthier' and instead say 'nutritious' because so much advice about health is contradictory...

especially the low fat vs low carb diet plans, while seemingly opposite both work by removing one of the food groups causing the body to be unable to process all of the other two.
with little fat you can't absorb all the carbs and can suck down pasta, bread etc.
with little carbs you need to load up fats but still burn off weight. so bacon bacon bacon.
oddly, I swear its true, i did the low fat vegan diet to lower cholesterol and damn it worked amazing but I couldn't keep it up close to a year....and was told I wasn't eating enough fresh fruit and veggies.
paleo cancelled grains and potatoes, sugars etc. and again I lost weight and got my blood work back to normal even the cholesterol which had gotten up over 300 again.
