It's exceptionally crowd pleasing, but at the same time, asks very little of its audience. I know that's not what Blockbuster Movies are supposed to do. But Marvel has shown their ability to work that in. And I think they largely failed to do it here unless you are just okay with the representation of depth by borrowing from the rest of previous franchises.
