In one of the strangest moments of my career…

Today a rather large (15+) tour group for a certain rival institution about an hour down the road from here came through on a tour of our facilities. That’s not unusual. We have a rather revolutionary facility and institutions from around the world have come to tour it. When the group arrived at my workspace, I gave them the regular speech, answered a few question, and then as the tour guide ushered them on… they applauded. I think it’s taken all day for it to register.
