Amidst the triple disaster of After Earth, Last Airbender, and The Absolutely F*ck*ng Nothing, he had to lie low for a while.
Devil (producer credit only) was also a fun bit of fluff that didn't waste time. The Visit was also a very enjoyable watch. Split put up big numbers, though I personally never saw it.
Agreed that Old is kind of a mess, which is too bad, because the premise is intriguing.
