install a new battery and fire it up (it hasn't been out since before the pandemic). They were successful, but also set off the smoke alarm, and our security company automatically dispatches for fire. County fire responded within minutes and there were red faces all round. The guy who was going to drive it is actually a county firefighter so he had some 'splaining to do :)
