If you were dealing with a full-time judge, I'd say no problem. Just go forward and see what happens. If the opposing Karen wants to fuck around, let her do so.

But an attorney acting as a part time municipal justice? Who has represented Karen? Could be a gamble, that could cut any number of ways.

I mean, just because Karen's the client, doesn't mean the city judge will automatically agree with her. Or even like her own client for that matter.
