In response to "I don't know if this is an unconventional or controversial opinion, but The Last Duel is a sublimely excellent--and vastly underappreciated--film." by RelutantCynic (Oregon State Beaver Believer)

Bottom 5 of the year for me because they replayed the events three times without substantial differences and didn't use the trial defense.

The whole draw to the story of history has been that it makes people debate who was really telling the truth. The film was a wasted effort because it didn't leave enough room for doubt.
