I assure you that if Netflix was willing to do a 45 window - or even a 30 day window - that theaters would gladly show it.

Agreed. This is exactly what I'm saying. The current window prevents chains from showing it, and Netflix is debating opening it up. -- nm

Yeah, Cinemark - and a lot of independents - won’t follow AMC’s and Regal’s lead. It remains to be seen if the hard line is the right approach.
