I devoured his first two features and can't wait for his next, but that is far too long.

Let us not forget the first two Baron's Rules of Movie Lengths:
(1) Almost every movie is at least 15 minutes too long.
(2) Almost every movie should come in at 2 hours or less. 2.5 is allowed for big finale events and 3 for the truly grand epic but no more. Subtract 30 minutes for anything targeted at younger audiences.
