Wouldn't it be nice if the Dems won the midterms, and then took that as a mandate for effective action - end filibuster, embiggen SCOTUS, and GSD?

Temporary EOs for immediate action followed by actually passing legislature around gun control and women's rights and other such concerns?
Wouldn't it be nice.
But American power structures seem content to remain deadlocked as the country withers and suffers under their watch.
And the Dems are pathologically incapable of getting shit done.
