It was a debacle, but things are trending in the right direction today.

The hope/belief is that we will close by June 15th.
If we don't, there's a real chance the whole thing collapses. We have an interest rate locked in that's two points lower than the market.
Our lender has told everyone that we'll pay a lot more on June 16th. We don't know whether that's a bluff or a sincere statement. But our orientation got moved up two days. So, the builder at least took it that seriously.
It's gonna be a terrifyingly exciting three weeks.
