You're lucky you already have that kind of plug in your garage. The grizzle has a short cord (maybe 1-1.5ft) from the plug to the unit but the cord

that goes to the car is a good 20+ ft.
Just be sure you have a nice place to mount the unit

the plug is right under some shelves mounted to the wall so I should be able to mount to either the shelves (wood) or directly to the cinderblock. -- nm
