He thought. He didn’t KNOW.
Regardless, why out of every possible place would he choose Tatooine?
He’s with Leia and he’s trying to hide her so he changes her name and makes up a backstory. With Luke, he just uses his same name and drops him off at uncles house.
The emperor knows Anakin’s name. The inquisitor knows Anakin’s name.
It’s dumb.
