So, I don't support trans women competing in women's sports.
Here's why.
It is true that HRT reduces muscle mass/strength so they are not equal to males. Does it make their muscles equivalent to bio females? at this time we don't know. And this is related to part two.
A body that undergoes puberty in the presence of male hormones undergoes many changes, some of which are irreversible. Chief among these is bone growth. This confers height, and it also changes overall body geometry in a way that is athletically advantageous. HRT cannot reverse this.
I understand this is not popular.
