Fifteen years offers a lot of experience and opportunities for refinement.

The same argument is also why I think sweeping statements like "Conservatives hate the poor" are damaging to political discourse. Based on pure rhetoric and logic, that statement is no different than saying "Homosexuals are child predators." It's a falsehood. And falsehoods repeated often enough become truths in the minds of too many people.
