Fett was just kind of boring. And the constant flashbacks was just not good story telling for me. And then you had two episodes where Fett wasn't even present. Normally I'm a fan of Favreau's work, but this was pretty disappointing.
Orville was just not where it should have been. I get what they were going for, but it just hit me completely wrong. As someone who had a friend commit suicide in the past, it was a very mixed bag.
It also felt very out of place. The episode seemed more like a left over from season 2. The big war was not the end of last season. There were several episodes at the end of the season in which Isaac was part of the crew and this opener suddenly people hate him which I do not remember at all from last season. Just seemed a little forced and out of place.
