For our family, only when necessary except my dad (it’s his brother).

My dad’s family was always an endless wave of figuring out who was not talking to whom or who made up when. It was exhausting.
Mostly they’re older now and can be in the same room together but I can count on one hand when all four siblings and my grandmother were in the same room during my lifetime (my grandparents divorced when I was a kid).
