I was thinking of how to do it with only a motion and door sensor but I should just have two motion sensors to turn on the light in the respective area and the ALSO make the door sensor opening turn on both lights
I get double coverage for the lights turning on (sending the command to turn them on when already on is no big deal) and then have each light turn off when the motion sensor detects no motion
I will probably just have to order one more motion sensor for the garage since I'm using my second one to turn on the kitchen under counter lights already. Probably a good thing anyways because all mine currently are zigbee and I think I'm stretching the hallway one's connection to the hub so ordering a wifi one for the garage is probably a good idea.
