In response to "I like a fabric with some structure to it, so I guess that's why I like them. And most of them are archaological conference shirts - field shirts :) -- nm" by Meg

You know, that is an important point I should keep in mind.

tRuMaN and zork gave me the spark of an idea for a new nonprofit advocacy group that I want to try out. I thought that if selling t-shirts with the name generated a positive, public response, it might be worth pursuing further into "development."

Your point is important because of the key audiences we'd target with that advocacy. A key demographic is going to be "outdoorsy types." "Outdoorsmen" (to start with the outdated sexist phrase) and all of their equals of any gender, but also park rangers, foresters, guides, and yes, archeologists. :-) They are going to want something sturdy and "outdoorsy" versus someone wanting to wear a scuffed up t-shirt into the mosh pit of some rock concert (which needs to be light and airy).

So, if this thing takes off ... I might be asking you more questions in a couple weeks. :-)
