Serious answer: if next year is markedly worse than this year, maybe he thinks about it, but barring disaster I bet he plays out the contract.

If the Oilers miss the playoffs I bet he starts planning his exit, but he doesn’t seem the type to bail. Anyway you have to seriously fuck up to get a generational player to demand a trade with 3 or 4 years on his contract. Unless he marries an actress or something.
