according to the notes in Deadbase, St. Helens did erupt during Fire on the Mountain on 6/12/80 Grateful Dead Portland Oregon show -- nm

And that one was at a much more reasonable 7pm and 9pm. 10 mile high ash cloud, but obviously not as insanely massive as the big eruption.

the show reviews in Deadbase say Weir told the audience it went off again during the second set, and of ash falling after the show -- nm
