If any of y'all would like to provide some feedback on The Reluctant Cynic Podcast (coming to a platform near you this summer), please let me know. -- (edited)

I have a one hour video of raw footage I'm turning into an initial episode of the podcast. If you'd like to watch all or part of that video (even skipping through it quickly), I would appreciate hearing back from you. I'll send you the link or post it here.

I consider your input not only incredibly valuable, but a good gauge of whether I should pursue this idea. I think ST is a great test bed, focus group, and microcosm of politics (and not just U.S. politics). If a good majority of you think there is enough good raw material to work with, and my initial work (however crude as it is) can be refined, then I'll continue pushing forward.

And y'all have (individually and collectively) a lot of valuable knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience that I can benefit from. So please, (including questions you have, questions I should focus on in the podcast, requests for help, offers of assistance, well-intentioned criticisms, etc.) or anything

I recorded a straight hour of video riffing on the theme of "What is this podcast all about?"

A question I've been wrestling with for only, oh about 8 or 10 years. I think have enough of a rough idea to provide my friend/producer (Thatcher) enough raw footage to stitch together a good 20-30 minute episode.

We're moving from concept to development. My plan is to launch around July 4th, and I'm building up enough material to have two or three episodes at launch, a couple episodes in reserve, and a good plan for a biweekly (every two weeks) release schedule.

And I could use a lot of help. I'll do my best to be open to any well-intentioned feedback, comments, questions, or critiques as I can on anything: mannerisms; speech; content; logic; entertainment value; suggestions for episodes; reactions; and anything else that comes to mind.

Y'all can help me sculpt this effort. Maybe I can help you with something in return. Or maybe there is a way we can work together and turn this into a common endeavor. Or find some other common endeavor for us to work on. Or whatever else comes to mind.
