There's a Howard Johnson's and places like that, you could probably get a standard room for a good price.

Some places are having sales, The New Yorker is offering 15% off if you stay between now and Sept. 7th.
I'm not sure how much you want to spend. Most hotels seem to run around $150 for anything decent or better.
