Wes is a stand up guy. He is a person my step-dad would call "a good kid."

That's the best description I can come up with right now.
He is the very model of a modern "Chicago guy," but he is a true gentleman at heart. Even if he does let his ego take over sometimes (and who on ST hasn't let their ego take over any number of times?) he makes up for it when he recognizes his mistakes or any unintentional harms he has caused.
