Like all of the recent award shows, the voters wanted to spread the love a bit. I don't agree with a bunch of the winners, but there weren't too many egregious mistakes.
A Strange Loop won Best Musical and Best Book, and that's it. Went 2/11. You shouldn't win these awards and nothing else.
Jaquel Spivey should have cleared out the competition but they handed Actor to Myles Frost from MJ. Sorry, that was a mistake.
Company's wins were predictable, and deserved. Hysterical the reference to Chris Harper paying LuPone's salary.
The Angela Lansbury lifetime achievement was in the pre-show only which was stupid. That said, she didn't end up showing, and she didn't film a video for the event. Fans are worried.
Billy Crystal was a hit for his performance. I see why the older folks keep asking him to host the Oscars.
Paradise Square is a mess from the 1 minute clip they showed. That said, Joaquina Kalukango. My god. That final note in her solo won her the award. I've never seen anything like that. She is a star.
I'm here for the Spring Awakening renaissance. Rumors are they want the revival to open this season, but they can't get the cast right.
