I appreciate that ballot measures are not a thing in every state, but if support is so strong for abortion rights across the country…

…why isn’t there a campaign to pass abortion rights in all the states where ballot measures are a thing? That’s how marijuana was legalized in so many states. It’s also how same-sex marriage so much moment that eventually SCOTUS had to rule on it. It’s the “across state lines” business that’ll land this in front of SCOTUS again sooner rather than later.

There’s a few, including some where abortion is apparently banned. (ballotpedia.org)
