In response to "If I wanted to listen to audiobooks is there a preferred app? -- nm" by Krusty

I like using Smart AudioBook Player. Praises sung in IM

It's good about finding files on your phone and you can designate folders for it to default to.

I like that it has a sleep thing where if the phone doesn't move for an amount of time it shuts off. Good for falling asleep to a book without it going through chapters while you can't hear it. You can set the sensitivity of movement that it detects and it can play a chime to let you know that it's going to fade out so you can jiggle the phone to keep going.

There are "small" and "big" forward and back buttons that can be customised to the amount of time they jump. I have small back to be 20 seconds and the big one to one minute.

The double and triple click events on your headphones can be set to different functions.

Also, when you pause or stop the book, it can go back slightly when it restarts so that you aren't starting with half a sentence and get lost. The amount it goes back depends on how long it was paused/off. So, if it was only momentarily paused, it might go back 3 or 5 seconds but 10 or 15 or 30 if it was off for a while.

Pretty much all these features (and a whole lot more) can be customised. Not everything is available in the free version but plenty is and you easily could go with that and be happy. Paid version is $2.49.
